Respect and Condolances to the very first Coach I ever had...Coach Larry Nolte being laid to rest today in Fulton, MO.
Coach Nolte was a GREAT man and introduced sports to 100's of us boys back at Hatton McCredie Elementary back in the 60's.
He was a classroom teacher. later Principal at Williamsburg, and LOVED sports and inspired that same love in passion in so many of us back then.
He built a football field and a baseball field at Hatton McCredie and started teams in both sports. Also coached us in Baskteball...and even Coached a track team there one year with makeshift equipment and a shoe-string budget that I am pretty sure always came out of his own pocket.
I last saw him when he came back for the very last basketball game played at Hatton McCredie Gym...when the North Callaway District decided to combine all the Elementary feeder teams into one North Callawy team.
He was very likeable, passionate, dedicated, and a truly GREAT man who inspired and touched a lot of young boys lives in very positive way.
Rest In Peace, Coach...you were loved and respected more than you'll ever know!

Principal Nolte touched many lives. May God grant you peace "until we meet again". My father-in-law passed Friday before Memorial Day and if he hasn't talked God's ears off by now, Larry will have many questions of his own. Peace be with you and your family.

He was a great neighbor 40 years ago. I still remember the whetstone he used to sharpen his blades with in the back yard.
Ronnee taught me how to ride a bicycle.
So sorry for your loss

Heaven is enriched by Larry being there. He does leave a void for those of us here. He owes me a fishing trip, so I expect him to check things out when he gets settled!!
