Nancy Jane Harding, 90, of Fulton passed away at her home on Friday, August 18, 2017.

She was born on July 13, 1927 in Columbia, Missouri, the daughter of the late Howard Leech and the late Emelia (Zopf) Leech.

Nancy was united in marriage to Robert Harding, who preceded her in death.

Nancy was a swim instructor who had the privilege of instructing Navy SEALS at Camp Hefferman Naval Base in Bloomington, Illinois.

Those remaining to mourn her passing include sons, Steve Harding (Joni) of Fulton, and Aaron Harding (Tracy) of Sedalia, Co.; daughter, Jennifer Golden (Tom) of Kansas City, Mo.; daughter-in-law, Debbie Harding; brother, David Leech (Susie) of St. Louis, and Bob Leech of Jefferson City; grandchildren, Anthony, Michelle, Justin, Brandon, Ashley, and Robbie; great-grandchildren, Sarah, Rebecca, Victoria, Dylan, and Trenton; and great-great-granddaughter, Emma Lynn.

Along with her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by son, Tim Harding.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at United Church of Christ in Fulton with Pastor Michelle Scott officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Steve and family, I don't have adequate words to tell you what both your mom and dad meant to me as a teenager. But I can tell you that the memories we made then will be with me forever, and the Harding family will always have a special place in my heart. God's peace and grace to you as you move through this time of grief. It was an honor to share time with you last week as we told Nancy goodbye. Love and prayers,
