Some of my fondest memories as a little guy were stopping by Gene & Kathleen's during deer season. I remember that Philip was always in the woods, even on the coldest of days and we would wait to see what he had gotten. While I was talking with Heather and Dad, I reminded them that it was Philip who had bought me my first Deer Rifle all those years ago. I wonder if he ever truly appreciated or understood just what he started (Ha! Ha!) Those were some great memories. My deepest sympathies go out to Philip's family and friends, as well as Ronald, Kathleen and Dean (my dad). Philip was one of a kind and he will be deeply missed.
