Stephen Leon Wiser, 70, of Fulton went to Heaven in the loving arms of the Lord on Monday, August 21, 2017 at Capital Region Medical Center.

He was born on August 17, 1947 to the late Oscar and the late Eva (Scott) Wiser in Russellville, Missouri.

He enjoyed watching FOX News and listening to Stephen King audio books.  He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  He was very proud of them all and especially proud of an “Old Fart” pin he wore on his hat that was a gift from his granddaughter.

He will be greatly missed by his three children, Kim Beasley (Jim), Ben Wiser and Shannon Wiser; grandchildren, Luke (Ciera), Levi (Ashley), and Lacy Morland; great-grandchildren, Payton Beasley, Raylan, Emery and Xavier Morland; sister, Delores Plaster (Jim); and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Marvin and Gail Wiser; and ex-wife, Susan Ziese with whom he maintained a great friendship.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Mount Olive Baptist Church, 8435 Mount Olive Road, Russellville, MO, with Brother Allen Earls officiating.  A meal will immediately follow.  Inurnment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Russellville.

I knew Steve as a hard worker,an honest young man I was his supervisor and he had the respect of his fellow workers and was able to work in difficulty situations. May he Rest In Peace ,my prayers for the family love in Christ Jesus.
