Susan Elizabeth Dillon, 72, of Steedman went peacefully to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, June 21, 2017.

She was born on March 28, 1945 in St. Charles, Missouri, the daughter of the late Antone James Brush and the Ida Elizabeth (Honerkamp) Brush.

On June 6, 1964, Susan was united in marriage to Thomas Lee Dillon who preceded her in death in 1996.

Susan retired from University Extension Center in 2005.  She was a member of Victory Fellowship and Steedman United Methodist Churches and was a supporter of Jewish Voice Ministries.  Susan was always ready with a contagious smile and an infectious laugh. Leading by example, Susan laid the foundation her children would follow, always placing family and faith foremost in their lives.

Those remaining to cherish her memory include her three children, Michelle Rogers (Ryan) of Mokane, Tom Dillon (Anne) of Mokane, and Lena Pate (Jeff) of Steedman; grandchildren, Callie O’Hara (Philip), Cody Rogers (Danielle), Haley Pate, Thomas G. Dillon, Chyann Pate, and Kendall Dillon; siblings, Antonette George (Gene) of Hannibal, Judy Isaac of Warrenton, Jim Brush (Nita) of St. Peters, Sina Brush of Santa Fe; and Anton Brush.

Along with her parents and husband, Susan was preceded in death by brothers, John, Raymond and Mike Brush.

Per her wishes, a private graveside service will be held at Riverview Church of God Holiness Cemetery in Portland.
