Derek Ebersole

Manager, Licensed Funeral Director, Licensed Preneed Agent

Derek Ebersole was born and raised in Fulton, graduating from Fulton High School in 1990.  Following graduation, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1990 – 1994, serving a tour in the Persian Gulf.  After returning to Fulton, he acquired his Funeral Directors License and worked in the funeral industry until 1999.  He owned and operated Ebersole Trash Service from 1999 until selling the business in 2011.  He joined Maupin Funeral Home in March 2011, assuming the manager position in August of the same year.  Derek is the father of three wonderful children, Jordan, McKayla, and Haylee.

Lori Dillon

Office Manger, Licensed Funeral Director, Licensed Preneed Agent, Licensed Life Insurance Agent

Lori Dillon oversees the daily operations of the office, prepares service items, insurance paperwork, and prearranges services. 

Lori is a resident of Portland, MO and graduated from Fulton High School. She attends Mokane United Methodist Church and is on the Independence Day Parade Committee. She enjoys cooking, baking and reading. She is also a fan of, and enjoys watching, the St. Louis Cardinals and Mizzou Tigers. Lori has been married to Joe since 1988 and has one son, Richard.

Barbara  has worked in the funeral industry for the past 25 years.  She is a graduate of the Motruary Science Progran at Cypress College in Southern California.

Prior to relocating to Missouri, she worked as the Quality Control Supervisor for a Mortuary and Cemetery in the Los Angeles area.

Barbara enjoys any type of crafting and cooking and playing with her dog.  She loves to travel to Sweden where her daughter, Erica, son-in-law, Eirik, and three grandchildren Sydney, Aiden and Tyler live.

Barbara believes everybody is a VIP to someone and promises to treat every decedent as if they were her own family member.

James Wagoner

Funeral Assistant, Preneed Agent

James Wagoner has been with Maupin Funeral Home since 2006. He is a Licensed Preneed Agent.

Kenny F. Holland, Sr.

Funeral Assistant

Kenny has been a Funeral Service Attendant with Maupin Funeral Home since 2008. He lived in Fulton most of his life and graduated from Fulton High School. He enjoys spending his time rebuilding old farm tractors. Kenny is married to Shirley and has two children, Kenneth Holland, Jr. and Debra Ann Weaver.

Betty Thomas

Funeral Assistant

Betty Thomas has been a Funeral Service Attendant with Maupin Funeral Home since 2005. She is very dedicated and passionate about serving others. She is a resident of Fulton, MO, and graduated from South Callaway R-11.

Betty loves cooking, decorating and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She is married to Alan and has one son, Clint Cox.

Crystal Morris

Funeral Assistant, Preneed Agent

Crystal Morris is a Licensed Preneed Agent and Apprentice Funeral Director. She was born and raised in Fulton and is a 1990 graduate of Fulton High School and a 2007 graduate of Lincoln University in Jefferson City, MO, with a BSN RN degree in nursing. Crystal is a member of the Fulton Branch of the NAACP, a board commissioner for the Fulton Housing Authority, a member of 100 Black Women in Funeral Service, and the President of the Health Unit for her Church, Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Fulton. She is also employed at Callaway Hospital as the Utilization Review Nurse/ Discharge Planner.

Her hobbies are reading, listening to gospel music and spending time with her family. Her husband is Robby Morris and they have 3 children, Nathan, Charles, and Jonathan, and 2 grandchildren, Allie and Haven.

Clay Chism

Funeral Assistant

Clay Chism has been a part-time funeral service attendant with Maupin Funeral Home since 2004. Clay also assists with many aspects of the funeral home duties and responsibilities.  He is always willing to help wherever needed.

Clay graduated from North Callaway High School, the University of Central Missouri with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, and Columbia College with a Master’s in Criminal Justice.  He has worked full-time as a Lieutenant of the Callaway County Sherriff’s Office since 2000. Clay belongs to the Fraternal Order of Police and is a past board member at CARD-V (Coalition Against Rape and Domestic Violence).

Jordan Holland

Jordan Ebersole has been a funeral service attendant with Maupin Funeral Home since 2011. 

Mckayla Ebersole

Funeral Assistant, Funeral Director Apprentice

Mckayla Ebersole was born and raised in Fulton, graduating from Fulton High School in 2013.  Following graduation she went to Moberly Area Community College to complete a general studies degree.  Two years later she graduated with a General Studies Associates of Arts Degree.  She is now at William Woods University finishing up her Bachelors in Business Administration.  She is a part-time teller at Exchange Bank of Missouri.  In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her family.  She is involved in Chi Omega Sorority at William Woods University and within this organization she in the Community Service Director.  McKayla has one older brother named Jordan Holland and one younger sister named Haylee Ebersole.
